Overview

SOSi is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to work at our corporate office in Reston, VA. In this role, the Subcontract Administrator will assist in full lifecycle support of all Subcontract-related activities across SOSi’s federal and state Government, International and Commercial business activities.

Essential Job Duties

  • Drafting, negotiating and administering Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and Independent Contractor Agreements (ICAs) and related modifications, reps & certs, and other supporting documentation.

  • Creating solicitations, supporting proposals, conducting price analysis, negotiating pricing, terms and other agreement provisions.

  • Developing and administering purchase orders and other agreements of lower dollar value, risk, and complexity, consistent with client requirements and procurement policies/procedures.

  • Participating in multifunctional teams to discuss subcontracting requirements and answer any questions concerning agreement and/or purchase order awards that will facilitate the completion of all required backup documents to initiate and execute a subcontract.

  • Assisting Sr. Subcontracts personnel in the creation and maintenance of compliant subcontract files with all required backup documentation.

  • Primary Procurement support to our Civilian Business unit supporting the onboarding and subcontracting of Independent Contractors.

  • Supporting SOSi’s commitment to increase small business participation.

  • Maintaining information in databases including the Costpoint financial system.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of (4) years of subcontract administration in support of U.S. government and/or Commercial Contracts.

  • Experience in developing solicitations, qualifying and selecting subcontractors (including performance of price analysis.)

  • Ability to draft, review, negotiate and administer Non-Disclosure and Independent Contractor Agreements.

  • Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting and subcontract types: Working knowledge of standard concepts, rules, regulations, and practices relating to U.S. Government contracting, including FAR, DFARS, Contractor Purchasing System review (CPSR) requirements, Procurement Integrity, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, import/export regulations, and domestic and international shipping requirements.

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes from requirements generation through closeout.

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communications skills.

  • Strong ability to multi-task, adapt to shifting priorities.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.

  • Exceptional ability to pay attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Work Environment

  • Working conditions as normal for an office environment with 3 days in the office with 2 days optional remote work.

  • Up to 10% travel in temporary duty (TDY) status

  • Ability to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.
