Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a member of the Global Distribution Product Management team, RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), the Salesforce Product Owner role will be integral for helping build a better Salesforce product that supports the Institutional, Retail and other GAM business lines and in various projects and systems work. The successful candidate will take the lead in projects, business analysis and understand the technical architecture and database design as well as business needs. In depth knowledge and expertise with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud as well as other distribution tools that integrate with these products is key. In addition, this role will also support the team on various testing, insights and user adoption. For more information, please visit:What will you do?Work with Salesforce as well as other applications and systems integrating with Salesforce, with an understanding of configuration data migration through environments and testing.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and assist in crafting a vison and product roadmap to strategic goalsLead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalitiesServe as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge related to the productAssess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategyLead vendor selection work for solutions that integrate with Salesforce that support business initiatives and strategyManage key stakeholder relationships, with emphasis on communication of priorities and deliverablesPlan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the productDevelop and document detailed product feature specifications and ensure it’s understood by the technical team and keep up with agile/scrum best practices and trendsWhat do you need to succeed?Must HaveUndergraduate degree, or post-secondary education preferably in business or information technology7+ years’ experience in working with CRM solutionsExperience with Salesforce in financial services, preferably asset managementIn-depth knowledge of agile process and principlesOutstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skillsKeen attention to detail, ability to manage competing deadlines, ability to work independently and within a team, and excellent organizational skillsProficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel skillsNice to HaveExperience with Jira and applicable work management technology and toolsExperience in a Systems / Business Analyst role with proven requirements gathering expertise, systems design and documentation skillsSalesforce Admin Certification (or other demonstration of in-depth Salesforce knowledge)Experience with other Salesforce integrations and technologies (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Outlook Integration, Seismic, Calendar Integration, etc.)What’s in it for you?We thrive on being challenged to do our best, to be progressive thinkers and keep growing, and to work together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
