Academic MentorAn ‘Outstanding’ graded Ofsted secondary school based in the heart of Lewisham are looking for Academic Mentors to join their vibrant and high-achieving secondary school for a September start.As an Academic Mentor, your job will be to support students within the Science department with their academics, as well as supporting with their well-being.This school is looking for a Graduate with a passion for science, looking to inspire students to find a love for the subject too!If you’re a confident, enthusiastic Graduate looking for a career where you can make a difference – this is the role for you!What will you do as an Academic Mentor?

• Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
• Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across science related subjects – dependant on your subject speciality!
• Support class teachers across different subjects and support students development academically
