Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Credit Analyst in the IT Software industry, based in Long Beach, California. The workplace offers a blend of office and remote work, with three days a week in the office and the remaining two days working from home. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in handling all functions within the credit and receivables department, and will closely engage with existing and prospective clients, Solution Providers, and Direct customers.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate the creditworthiness of existing and future clients, Solution Providers, and Direct customers through a detailed examination of financial transactions and credit history
• Adhere to the established policy documentation related to the credit and customer setup process
• Make informed credit decisions based on your analysis and credit risk assessments
• Maintain electronic credit files in line with company policy
• Resolve credit and collections issues in collaboration with other departments as necessary
• Review and release of held orders pending credit decisions as appropriate
• Engage with customers and other teams on aged accounts to facilitate payment within terms
• Process payments and other cash receipts as needed
• Conduct report generation and analysis as needed
• Manage collections for both Solution Providers and Direct customers, including generating collection notices and follow-up communications. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M and ADP – Financial Services is essential
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary
• Demonstrated skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Cash Flow Analysis
• Knowledge of Collection Processes and Credit is crucial
• Ability to manage Credit Applications is expected
• Prior experience in the IT Software industry is desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
