Marketing Officer – Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) MedwayAre you ready to take the next step in your marketing career and want to do something that will make a positive difference to Medway’s communities? We are hiring a full-time Marketing Officer with our Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) team.The HDRC aims to reduce health inequalities in Medway and is a collaboration between Medway Council and the University of Kent. It aims to embed quality research practice within the council, with the ultimate goal of making it easier for our residents to live long, healthy and happy lives. (see for more information).In this role you will work as part of a team to create and deliver strategic marketing campaigns that really demonstrate the value and impact of the HDRC Medway. You’ll be responsible for creating interesting content and managing a variety of communication channels including the website, intranet, social media, and print and online marketing materials. We’re looking for someone who can inspire people from all walks of life, including stakeholders from within the council as well as the higher education sector, voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, and local communities.As the successful candidate, you will have relevant experience and be proficient in the skills required for the role. You will enjoy being in a busy and varied role with the opportunity to work one day a week on other public health services such as stop smoking and mental health.Working as part of a larger team, you will ensure brand values and tone of voice is followed across the council, remain up-to-date in digital communications, help to ensure that service performance targets are met and uphold social media standards.If you share our enthusiasm for improving the health and wellbeing of our communities and have the energy and experience, we are looking for, please do get in touch and apply today.
