Position Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer – Reliability with a strong background in automation, electronics, and troubleshooting to support our maintenance team. This role acts as the second level of technical support, assisting maintenance technicians when complex issues arise, and working closely with the Engineering Manager to enhance overall maintenance operations. The Maintenance Engineer will be instrumental in implementing and monitoring key programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and optimize spare parts management, all while ensuring safety and machine performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to maintenance technicians, troubleshooting and resolving complex automation and electronic issues.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to improve machine reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize costs.
- Develop, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Leverage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to enhance maintenance scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory to ensure availability while minimizing costs.
- Partner with operations, support departments, and external vendors to drive improvements and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Support the Engineering Manager in strategic maintenance planning and serve as a key technical resource.
- May oversee maintenance technicians depending on leadership abilities.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of automation, electronics, and troubleshooting required.
- Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning systems is preferred.
- Ability to implement and monitor KPIs related to maintenance performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across departments and with external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred.
- Recent graduates with solid technical knowledge are welcome to apply.
Pay Range: – 122,045.70
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
