The Environment and Social Sustainability Solutions Department (CEG) includes approximately 200 staff and consultants. CEG supports IFC’s investment and advisory teams in managing ESG risks and finding client solutions based on our&nbsp&nbsp •&nbsp Environmental and Social Performance Standards (http://www.ifc.org/performancestandards) and&nbsp&nbsp •&nbsp Corporate Governance Methodology (http://www.ifc.org/corporategovernance).&nbsp IFC seeks a dynamic, motivated Environmental &amp Social (E&ampS) Specialist with strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills to support its business in Thailand and the wider East Asia Pacific region. This professional will provide E&ampS guidance to clients and investment and advisory teams on E&ampS matters vis-à-vis IFC Performance Standards (PS) and Sustainability Policy, aiming to promote compliance and enhance the impact and additionality of IFC-supported business activities.&nbsp Roles and Responsibilities •&nbsp Lead or contribute to the assessment of E&ampS issues and risks in new investments and select advisory engagements in the financial intermediary and banking sectors •&nbsp Prepare concise public disclosure documents for new investments as well as internal documentation •&nbsp Lead or contribute to identifying and developing E&ampS risk mitigation measures and value-add solutions that support clients in addressing identified isses •&nbsp Provide clear and responsive guidance to IFC investment teams on E&ampS risk management in project decision-making and processing throughout the investment cycle •&nbsp Support formulation of E&ampS legal conditions for IFC projects •&nbsp Monitor portfolio clients and engage with them and their investment departments to achieve E&ampS compliance.
