Job description

General Administration department strategy is to deliver excellent general administrative services to the whole Bank covering different functions including project management, facilities, logistic and events, admin and central filing, systems, commercial property and security operations, residential and commercial property management. As an Assistant Vice President Project Manager – Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible to manage and develop the work and resources required for the Bank’s various digital transformation project, including but not limited to the Document Management System Project. You will also be responsible to coordinate with key departments and stakeholders for system functionalities development according to Head Office policies, Bank of China (UK) Limited (BOC UK) Archive Management Policy, GDPR and local regulations and requirements. This is a full time permanent position.Key responsibilities

  • Analyse the system requirements of key departments
  • Liaise with all stakeholders including different departments
  • Research and analyse systems including digital document management systems in the current market to develop the Bank’s systems
  • Draft project plans when required
  • Draft proposals for new and existing systems for IT Centre Europe and Head Office for consideration
  • Evaluate and assess systems from different vendors and select the system based on the business requirements
  • Develop interface of the system and manage the data integration
  • Collaborate with the relevant departments to review information management policies and strategies including document retention and records management

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Banking, Information Management or other equivalent
  • Project management experience and related qualifications
  • Experience in the development of document management system or OA system
  • Good awareness and understanding of compliance regulatory requirements
  • Ability to form good relationships within the department and the wider organisation
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Team player
