Job Description:Grade UE06: £33,882 to £39,105 per annumSchool of Biological Sciences / College of Science and EngineeringFixed Term: for 6 Months (Maternity Cover from February)Full Time: 35 hours per weekThe Opportunity:We are looking for a talented individual to join the Building Management Team at the School of Biological Sciences as an Assistant Building Manager.This post is full-time (35 hours per week) on campus and is initially for 6 months (maternity cover) with the possibility of it being extended. We would be happy to consider secondments for applicants from within the University.You will join a small team of building management and technical staff working together to provide day-to-day management of buildings and facilities in support of its state of the art biological research and teaching. The post will primarily be located at the Swann Building at the King’s Buildings campus.Your skills and attributes for success:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Outstanding communications and influencing skills.
- Experience of laboratory work, ideally through lab management.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment.
- Ideally experience of buildings and/or facility management.
