Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, confident, and dynamic individual who is keen to make an immediate impact within a busy multi-skilled team and be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally. As the administrator for our Product development and sourcing team, you will support the Head of Product Development and Sourcing with all administrative tasks related to suppliers including but not limited to requesting supplier associated pricing, samples, product specifications and all relevant documents to capture these agreements. The role will also be responsible for supporting with ad hoc administrative tasks for the department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative capacity. Strong PC Skills, Ability to manage time and adhere to deadlines will be key to your success in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Product Development team with tasks associated with all Project management of new product development and sourcing initiatives ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks and ultimate launch of projects.
  • General administration of documentation tracking, managing supplier data base information.
  • Obtaining Product Specification, New Product Information and Product Information Forms.
  • Provide full and timely feedback to all suppliers when product reviews, client presentations and internal evaluations have been completed.
  • To be able to continue build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, internal and external suppliers.
  • Manage the supply of sample requests, organisation and storage.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Product Development and Sourcing as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Educated to university degree level OR relevant work / industry experience
  • Work Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role handling an administrative function, preferably within a NPD/ Food Production / Manufacturing environment

Skills & Knowledge:

  • PC literate with strong skills in MS-Office suites
  • Ability to work efficiently using own initiative to resolve issues
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, other European languages would be an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales, prioritising as appropriate
  • Driving license and use of car would be an advantage but not essential
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends/during holiday periods if required
