Our Deals team brings together specialists in due diligence, valuation and restructuring to help our clients’ organisation successfully navigate through mergers, acquisitions, investments, divestments or financing.

PwC is currently looking for an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant (m/f) focusing on financial due diligence services to join our Deals team. 

Your future role:

Support clients in financial due diligence exercise of companies from various sectors. This includes:

  • Analysis of financial statements, management reports and supporting accounting documentation including: 
  • data review and transformation, 
  • data quality assessment, 
  • trend analysis, 
  • profitability analysis, 
  • deep-dive analysis of individual financial statements line items, 
  • analysis of EBITDA, net debt and net working capital 
  • Analysis of other business-related information (commercial contracts, financial agreements etc) 
  • Discussing findings with team leaders and follow up on review points
  • Performing research activities using publicly available or proprietary sources
  • Working on preparation of financial due diligence report

Profile requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial due diligence or having a strong audit background
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Accounting technical knowledge
  • Advanced use of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint tools, knowledge of Power BI and/or basic programming skills is an advantage
  • Precision and orientation to detail
  • Problem-solving oriented
  • Business awareness
  • Team player mindset
  • Ability to adapt to an intensive work environment and maintain composure under stress
  • Flexible mindset
  • Proficient knowledge of English and fluency in Croatian (both speaking and writing)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • ACCA/CFA member or student is an advantage
