You’ll become a vital part of our marketing operation, which works collaboratively with experienced specialists in design research, UX, UI, Scrum, product, data and cyber security, alongside developers specialising in native, hybrid and web technologies.As we cement our plans for 2025, we are looking for a talented Marketing Assistant to join our business on a permanent basis.This is a hybrid role working from any of our offices in the UK (Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London).As a Marketing Assistant your duties will include:Content Development:Assist in generating thematic thought leadership content alongside subject matter experts for our owned channels.Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for social media channels using native platforms or scheduling tools.Digital Advertising:Set up and manage small-scale campaigns on various digital ad platformsAssist in tracking campaign performance and optimising ad spend for better ROI.Content Marketing:Develop and manage content amplification strategies both internally and externally, such as blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates.Data & Analytics:Use Google Analytics to access and interpret web traffic data, creating basic reports that inform marketing strategy.Analyse data to identify trends and report on key metrics, ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.Internal Communication & Reporting:Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders about ongoing projects, priorities, and progress toward goals.Raise concerns around brand safety, business security, and marketing fidelity when necessary to ensure integrity and compliance.Requirements:Good understanding of digital marketing, content creation and brand management.Experience with digital ad platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or LinkedIn Ads.Strong written communication skills for content creation and marketing copy.Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics and how to access and use data for reporting.Strong organisational skills for event coordination and project management.Proactive, creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.Curious mind looking at ways to improve processes, using new tools, appropriate use of AI and modern automation techniques.DesirableExperience of using Canva or Adobe suiteExperience in Hubspot or other marketing toolkitsExperience with LinkedIn ads campaign managerThe recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!).After that, you’ll be invited to a two-stage interview process where you have an opportunity to find out more about the role and showcase your skills and experience.
