Job Description: Teaching Assistant – Primary Special Educational Needs School in CrawleyHours: 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM (with a 45-minute lunch)
Location: Crawley
Pay: £84 per day
Contract: Long-term, ongoing
Start Date: ASAP or JanuaryWe are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join a primary special educational needs school in Crawley. This fulfilling role involves supporting children with complex needs, both verbal and non-verbal, in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with complex needs, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist with classroom activities, adapting resources to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.
• Manage and support challenging behaviour calmly and effectively.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, helping them to feel confident and included.
• Support personal care needs where required, ensuring the dignity and comfort of each child.
