If you’re an experienced finance manager, who is looking for a new challenge, then this is an excellent opportunity for you!ABOUT THE CLIENTImpact Recruitment has partnered with an established NPO in Vancouver that is known for its collegial atmosphere, work-life balance, and an excellent benefits package! Currently, they are on a hunt for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA and has 5+ years of accounting and system implementation experience.ABOUT THE POSITIONReporting to the Director, Finance, the Finance manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Manage implementation of accounting and reporting system upgrades.
• Plan and implement new systems, review changes to internal system integrations
• Liaise with IT and external consultants for system issues
• Oversee the AP/AR specialists and monitor the financial reporting module.
• Perform backup duties for Senior Accountant and Director, Finance
• Coordinate bi-annual accounting system updates and related User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Work on annual budget processes, financial analysis and assist with audits.
• Develop and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Handle ad hoc tasks, projects, and analysis as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience leading accounting system implementations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $110,000 to $115,000
• Extended health and dental
• 3 weeks vacation
• RRSP matching
