The Digital Channels team is focused on delivering features and capabilities for our cash management platform by working with our corporate and commercial customers on moving and sending payments across different currencies, payment types, and methods, and connecting to other banks globally.What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for a motivated and energetic digital product manager to help enhance the payment capabilities of ScotiaConnect 1.0 and support its global expansion. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Channels, you’ll work with Technology, UX design, Business, and cross-functional partners to design and implement payment capabilities and administration, delivering best-in-class product experiences. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale technical efforts focussed on enhancing the money movement journey and features of ScotiaConnect 1.0 and expanding our global platformWhat You’ll Bring:

  • You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from early opportunity analysis, research and customer validation, scope, engineering, testing, and release.
  • Develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps. Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
  • Advise teams and leadership on key technology and product roadmap considerations.
  • Manage a lab (scrum) team to develop solutions to strengthen payment product capabilities, while delivering with high quality and value.
  • Lead problem discovery to understand customer needs, current challenges, and work closely with design and engineering partners to come up with solutions.
  • Assist in the development of vision and roadmap with our product and technology teams that prepare digital channels for future features and enterprise payment products.
  • Focus on enhancing money movement capabilities and features for ScotiaConnect 1.0, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across different currencies and payment methods.
  • Support the global platform expansion by identifying and implementing features that cater to international markets and regulatory requirements.
  • You have 3-5+ years of experience in a role building customer-facing digital products.
  • Experience influencing prioritization at the intersection of business needs and technology (you measure your success in terms of business impact).
  • You have managed a technology product or a digital journey end to end, from inception to delivery.
  • You have experience in web, mobile, or microservice development with a strong focus on digital payments.
  • Digital Payments experience is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel based on business need will be required between our Toronto and Scarborough offices.
  • (Bonus) Prior knowledge in the financial technology space, particularly in payment processing.
