Dutch Wonderland Maintenace Technician

Palace Entertainment is a subsidiary of Parques Reunidos, one of the leading global operators, with more than 60 different assets (theme parks, zoos and marine parks, water parks and other attractions), spread out over various countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia.

Responsible for maintenance of the Dutch Wonderland Family Entertainment Complex to include all assets of property maintenance including ride, attraction, and facility maintenance for the Complex.

We are currently looking for a:

Dutch Wonderland Maintenace Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing and rebuilding mechanical pieces of equipment and rides to sustain specified safety and performance standards.
• Conduct ride inspections and preventative maintenance on a daily basis to ensure safe ride operations and compliance with manufacturer specifications and requirements.
• Comply with Company policies and regulations established by OSHA, NFPA, etc. as well as local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Participate in all required training and continuing education.
• Participate in the training of new team members on specific ride inspection procedures.
• Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with established industry standards.
• Assist other mechanics and trades personnel with any projects as assigned.
• Assist with park ride operations when assigned.
• Read and comprehend blueprints and schematic diagrams and follow manufacturer specifications and communicate directly with manufacturer representatives when needed.
• Have a thorough knowledge of equipment and tools used in support of mechanical trades.
• Prioritize, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with minimal direction and supervision.
• Provide good workmanship in a timely manner and meet established deadlines.
• Education: High School diploma required; vocational training in a mechanical or electrical trade is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent English 
• Skills:
• Communication – Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a wide range of diverse personnel
• Problem Solving/Analysis: Define problems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine appropriate corrective action for wide range of facilities and equipment.
• Executive Presence – Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates
• Flexibility – Handle multiple priorities simultaneously; maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects
• Initiative and Adaptability – Take initiative and execute plans to accomplish strategic objectives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Experience: Five years of experience with mechanical trades. Vocational training or comparable training may be considered in lieu of experience.
