Description

Responsible for managing the translation of business requirements into technical interpretations ensuring its alignment with departmental business needs, vendors and in line with the organizations strategy and mission. Works with departmental subject matter experts and leaders to define operational business needs and systems to design and execute projects improving the use of applications to produce efficiencies. Translates technical information into non-technical meaningful data to support departmental strategic planning while working with various applications within the organization as well as with different departments to extract data that yields solutions that are consistent and standardized. Provides guidance and technical advice to departmental subject matter experts on projects that impacts department operational business, technology, processes and/or strategies to ensure in line and supports the organization and departmental needs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi functional team maintaining specialized technical knowledge in areas supported with exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Estimated salary range for this position is $68813.24 – $89457.21 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

  • Bachelors.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor‘s degree in HIM Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Required 5+ years experience in a large, multi-hospital health system with knowledge in data analytics tools (Power BI, ProDiver and Tableau), Proficient in Excel VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, strong working knowledge of data manipulation, analysis, engineering and validation.
  • Proven working experience as a data administrator in the information technology sector.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on-experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent client facing and internal communication skills and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
