Job Title: Instructor

Location: Onsite – Wichita, KS – with minimal domestic travel required

Assignment Length: 12 months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG working for John Deere)

Shift Information: Typical Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week, no overtime expected)

Pay Rate: $37.00ph

*Metatarsal boots required for day 1

*Forklift will be used for this role but not daily. Deere will train

About the Role: As a John Deere Instructor, you will develop and deliver training primarily for dealership parts professionals, with opportunities to support company personnel and customers. This role emphasizes aftermarket selling skills, common parts needs for John Deere equipment, and the professional skills essential for John Deere Ag and Turf dealership employees.

Instructors will create, update, and deliver engaging content for students across the John Deere dealership network. Training formats include virtual courses ranging from four to eight hours, and in-person classes spread over two days, per week. Participants will include parts professionals and other aftermarket employees from John Deere dealerships throughout North America.

Top Must-Haves:

• Professional Communication Skills: Ability to create and deliver engaging content in simple terms using today’s technological classroom tools.

• Agricultural Knowledge: Strong knowledge of agriculture equipment and/or precision technology.

• Organizational Skills: Capacity to manage meetings with subject matter experts, meet delivery deadlines, and understand a variety of products and systems.

Education Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Adult Education discipline or Agriculture (AgriBusiness, Communication, Ag Ed, etc.) is ideal.

• A technical degree (e.g., JD TECH) is also acceptable.
