This position manages operations on a day-to-day basis, collaborates and maintains positive relationships with customers, works to develop colleagues, and provides a communication channel between hospital executives. The Clinical Engineering Senior Manager also directs regulatory inspections and ensures that AdventHealth is following regulatory standards. This position includes a hands-on service component in general biomedical support. The individual demonstrates adherence to the AdventHealth service standards in all professional interactions. Document demand labor, demand parts, labor, contracts, labor, and parts** **·** **Answer questions and meet with others to identify the root cause of technological/process problems** **·** **Manage inventory of shop supplies** **·** **Develop service strategies with an outlook of continuous process improvement** Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** + 2 years Leadership Experience **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** + **Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical or military training/experience AND Four years of biomedical, facilities, or related experience** **OR** + **Associates Degree in a related field AND Six years of biomedical, facilities, or related experience** + **Two years of managerial/leadership experience, preferably in a clinical engineering setting; or graduate of a management training program** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:** + **Bachelor’s in engineering or business** + **Master’s degree in Business Administration** **LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:** + **Technical certification such as A , CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE** **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** + **Manages Biomedical Technicians** This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
