We are looking for a dedicated Medical Advisor to strengthen the quality of our medical programming by developing and monitoring standards, supporting training, and ensuring best practices are implemented in our humanitarian health projects.
Responsibilities
- Developing medical manuals, SOPs, and guidelines for field operations
- Reviewing and monitoring the implementation of medical protocols and standards
- Conducting internal training sessions for medical staff to enhance skills and knowledge
- Ensuring integration of MEAL principles into medical programming
- Supporting the design and analysis of medical data to improve program quality
- Providing technical support and motivation to medical teams in the field
- Collaborating with MEAL staff to assess and enhance the impact of health interventions
- Ensuring compliance with humanitarian and medical standards
Candidate’s profile
- Degree in medicine, nursing, or public health
- Strong understanding of MEAL principles in humanitarian contexts
- Experience in developing medical documentation and training materials
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
