Your role

We are looking for a Automation Engineer Intern who will support the team in different activities:

Main responsibilities:

1. Develop and program PLC, HMI, and robotic systems for automation processes.
2. Design and implement mechanical components and systems for industrial applications.
3. Manage automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
4. Integrate and optimize machine vision systems for quality control and process monitoring.
5. Troubleshoot and maintain automation equipment to ensure efficient operation.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation processes and system performance.
7. Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance teams.
8. Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in all automation projects.
9. Research and implement new automation technologies to improve productivity.
10. Document all project activities, including programming, design modifications, and troubleshooting.

Main requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Engineering is preferred
2. Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, C++)
3. Basic knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence knowledge
4. Basic knowledge of Computer Vision & Image Processing;
5. Good relationship skills to co-work with different departments (Controlling, Production, Logistics)
6. Ability to collect, analyze and structure data in order to convert them into information
7. Fluent English
8. Great desire to learn and get involved
