We are delighted to be working exclusively with a global manufacturing business which partners with some of the biggest brands and household name retailers in the world.Reporting directly into the fantastic General Counsel, you will be working autonomously on:· drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts with key customers;
· advising the business on bids and tenders;
· building relationships in the business with key stakeholders; and
· assisting on the training, education and implementation of legal operations, processes and procedures in the business.Personality wise, the business is looking for someone who is adaptable and excited by a challenge. It is also key that you are able to forge relationships with key stakeholders in the business.For this reason, the business is open on PQE level and commercial contracts experience is desired, but lawyers who have gained experience in commercial / transactional areas of law including: Corporate M&A, Commercial Litigation, Employment, Construction / Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Regulatory, are also encouraged to apply – what is key is that you have received fantastic training and you have enthusiasm and willingness to learn in an in-house environment.You will be circa 3-7 PQE and this is a fantastic first in-house opportunity for a lawyer currently in private-practice, seeking a first in house move into a collegiate legal team and highly exciting sector.
