Applications are being accepted for a post-doctoral associate with a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology to conduct scholarly research on the role of epigenetic factors in regulating cellular identity. The successful applicant will have experience in working on chromatin, experience in genetics, and excellent data management skills. The applicant should have demonstrated expertise in chromatin biology, gene expression, and epigenetics, as evidenced by a strong publication record in these fields. The candidate will also be expected to be a full participant in the intellectual activities of the laboratory including group/lab meetings, fellowship applications, journal clubs, and mentoring of students in the laboratory. This position requires experience in performing difficult molecular techniques and analyzing resulting datasets, driving independent research projects from conception to publication, as well as working with the team of current lab members.
