Whether you are a team member or a customer, Farm Boy is passionate about creating a unique fresh food shopping experience and ensuring that we deliver on our commitments.As we continue to grow within Ontario, Farm Boy is excited to welcome new team members that share our passion for providing the best fresh shopping experience!Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for managing and executing a variety of digital marketing projects and programs such as: E-commerce, program ads, SEO/SEM, digital signage etc. Supporting the Marketing Management team, this position will ensure that all requirements are delivered in a timely manner adhering to established brand guidelines. The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for updating the Farm Boy website through content management systems ensuring accurate information.
- Oversee the execution of e-mail marketing campaigns.
- Responsible for managing Google, Yelp and Bing business accounts.
- Manage the digital signage program and coordinate weekly digital flyer updates with partners including Flipp and Smart Canucks.
- Run reports, analyze data and consolidate results in PowerPoint for the Marketing Management team to review.
- Work cross functionally with various team members to develop time lines, create schedules and oversee progress of digital marketing projects.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
Qualifications
- Typically requires completion of post-secondary education with an emphasis in Marketing, plus 1-2 years of experience in Digital Marketing, E-commerce (preferably with a focus on retail grocery), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of project management.
- Proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Keen eye for detail with good follow-up practices.
- Well-developed computer skills, specifically in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google My Business.
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop and InDesign.
- Knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Experienced with e-mail marketing platforms including MailChimp.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and decisive with a hands-on approach.
- Strong customer skills including tact, diplomacy, discretion and relationship building.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Passion for food and interest in nutrition and healthy living.
- Flexible schedule, including availability during evenings and weekends on occasion.
- Fluency in French shall be considered an asset.
Work & Sensory Environment:
- May be required to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods of time at community and store events.
- Lack of control over pace due to multiple and/or tight deadlines beyond one’s control.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.
- Exposure to distractions caused by open office noise and frequent interruptions.
