Morson are recruiting for Industrial Painters for BAE Systems at their site in Barrow in Furness.It is a 12 month contract with starts subject to security clearance A full rate card can be sent out on request.Local – 3 on 4 off shift – PAYE – £23.28Non local – 3 on 4 off shift PAYE – £31.28With a standard 37 hours a week with a possibilty of overtime.If this role is something of interest please get in touch by emailing your CV and certificates to [email protected] or calling 0161 707 1516.BAE will require an apprenticeship certificate or a CSCS gold card which states _recognised apprenticeship_, they will also accept a level 3 NVQ with a ICATS card.What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing substrates and substrates
- Painting to a high standard on the Astute/Dreadnought class Submarines whilst they are under construction
- Using Holding Primers, Primers and Glossing)
- Spray Painting & Stencilling
- Using equipment such as Bristle Blasters, Electric grinder/sander & Needle Gun
Expected salary
£40 – 31.28 per hour
