Housekeeping Assistant – Manchester M1Hourly Rate: £12 per hourHours Per Week: Initially a zero hours contract.Shift Pattern: Our Housekeeper’s shift patterns are from 10am – 2pm, 7 days a weekWhilst this will initially be a zero-hours contract, a typical week would probably have a requirement of 8-12 hoursVita StudentVita Student delivers the world’s best student living experience thanks to its ‘all in’ offering which is centred around the resident’s needs, We offer style, luxury & comfort to our student residents, surrounded by premium amenities and a vibrant city life.Our Housekeeper’sOur Housekeeper’s play a critical role within the day-to-day operations of Vita Student, ensuring designated areas of the building are cleaned to our high standards.

• Cleaning resident rooms and communal areas as required ensuing time deadlines are adhered to.
• Following cleaning schedules and complying with health and safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to our residents
• Maintaining the cleaning equipment and replacing supplies within the budgeted allocation
• Continuously checking for any damage, faults, or defects (if found, report them to management following procedure)

Our Housekeeper’s play a critical role ensuring that these standards are met throughout our buildings ensuring a pleasant, clean and comfortable environment for our residents. We are looking for:

• Experienced Housekeepers who have a background working in large, multi-room premises such as student accommodation, hotels, hospitals etc.
• Someone who is customer focussed
• Vibrant, bubbly personalities to match our Vita Student culture
• All housekeeping work is audited using tablets, therefore someone with IT experience, ideally using tablets or smart phone devices
• Our Housekeeper’s work individually rather than in teams, therefore we require someone who is comfortable working independently
