An opportunity has arisen for an experienced secretary/administrator to join the Sheffield Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Service. It is an exciting, fast paced role, working within a supportive and friendly team.The post is 37.5 hours a week and is a permanent position.The successful candidate will be based in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals SLT service working as a member of the team providing admin support to the SLT teams working in acute, outpatients, stroke, and community.Main duties of the jobTo provide secretarial and administrative support and to ensure effective and efficient maintenance of administrative systems and procedures required by the Speech and Language Therapy Team using SystmOne and other NHS systems.About usYou will be working for an organisation which values and respects all of its staff and the community it serves. - Typewriting/secretarial qualification or equivalent qualification/experience.

- Experience of secretarial, administrative and clerical tasks.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment with an understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.

- Experience of working in the NHS in a medical or patient environment.
- Experience of working with the general public.
