Receptionist in Stamford, Connecticut

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the non-profit industry, located in Stamford, Connecticut, United States. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, managing inbound calls, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication within the office.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out efficient and detail-oriented receptionist duties with a focus on excellent customer service.

• Handle all incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.

• Take responsibility for scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently to ensure smooth operations.

• Record all incoming calls and messages accurately, ensuring they are passed on to the intended recipient in a timely manner.

• Offer a welcoming environment for visitors and staff, contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Receptionist Duties within a non-profit setting

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a detail oriented and courteous manner

• Proven ability in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Familiarity with office equipment like fax machines, printers, and photocopiers

• Good organizational skills with a keen eye for detail

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) TalentMatch®
