Job Category: Applied R&DDegree Level: Bachelor’s DegreeJob Description:We are seeking a System Integration Test Engineer to join our growing team. You will be part of a new team that will help improve and refine customer procedures, evaluate and enhance system level troubleshooting tools, and validate new deployment use cases for Nokia’s Network Services Platform (NSP) in container-based runtime environments. Your input will help improve Nokia’s customer experience in the use of the latest cutting-edge Network Management software.We believe in Subject Matter Expertise and code ownership. We keep the process simple so that developers can focus on coding. With minimum overhead, developers interact directly with Product Managers, peer designers, and QA. If you are proud of your code, you belong on our team.Responsibilities:In this job, you will:
- Work with scrum teams to ensure ends user documentation properly captures the software installation and behavior from a system point of view
- Validate new deployment use cases from a system point of view
- Work with NSP Observability tools and provide recommendations for improvements to align with industry-based Observability best practices
- Investigate product defects encountered during test scenarios
Qualifications:You have:
- 8+ years System level testing experience in a high growth environment.
- Python Programming skills
- Experience working in a Linux based environment
- Creativity and innovation
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field
It would be nice if you also had:
- 4-5 years NSP development or testing
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Observability concepts
- Experience in customer documentation validation
- Previous automation experience would be an asset
