With its Outstanding Ofsted rating, the school offers excellent opportunities for joyful and engaging learning experiences.About the Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teachers and students, helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in education while making a difference in the lives of young learners in Bournemouth.Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and providing one-on-one support to students, especially those with learning difficulties or special needs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing classroom dynamics and encouraging good behaviour.
- Prepare teaching materials and organise resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Assist in assessing students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers and students.
- Follow individual care and medical plans, administering medication and supporting personal care needs as required.
- Foster student independence and utilise effective communication techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- Understanding of special education needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education.
