Machine Operator – South Plainfield, NJ

position is offering a $2000 Sign On Bonus!

As well as the daily bonus up to $10 per hour!

New employees can earn $50K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 50-hour work week. This includes the base rate, overtime, retention and production bonuses.

There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses.

Position is full-time with benefits!

1st Shift Schedule
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + OT including some weekends

JOB SUMMARY:

The Machine Operator C is responsible for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.

• Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.

• Assist with finished products by using banders to bundle finished products.

• Assist with Break Press operations.

• Operate overhead cranes and/or forklifts for efficient material handling.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Adhere to safety protocols.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
