Key Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
To provide technical expertise in the implementation of holistic, innovative, and progressive corporate/foundation partnership and direct marketing strategies leading to team funding growth, and supporting the goal and objectives of WVDF with the end in view of creating a continually transforming organization that engages different partners/donors to participate in its child-focused transformational development ministry.
Funding Acquisition
Responsible in achieving quarterly income and non-income targets/goals to eventually contribute to the overall annual local fundraising income target through Grants, Private Non-Sponsorship Projects, and other related campaigns.
Proposal Development and Project Management

Convenes and leads Proposal Development Teams in coordination with other departments such as Finance, Operations, and SMIL to develop project proposals and submits in a timely manner.

Prepares and submits interim and final progress and accomplishment reports in accordance with grant guidelines, donor requirements, or as necessary.
Direct Marketing

Engages corporations, foundations, and other private partners according to the Donor Relationship Management Plan (DRMP) for each donor, with the aim of acquiring resources for the project concepts and proposals that have been developed. This includes exploratory meetings, presentation of proposals, and attending partner events.

Identifies and develops strategic partnerships with corporations and foundations resulting in new funding opportunities. Manages and strengthens relationships with corporations/ foundations.

Does prepositioning and retention activities to increase brand visibility and positioning, eventually leading to more funding opportunities.

Participates in the development and implementation of strategic corporate engagement/partnership and direct marketing strategic materials (e.g., proposals, presentation decks, collaterals, and etc.) that are in accord with WVDF standards.
Donor Relations Management

Strengthens the organization’s relationships with key local corporations, foundations, and other private partners through check-ins, meetings, and events.

Supports the Corporate Partnerships Officer in conducting a corporate and foundation donor mapping, targeting, and implementation of a Donor Relationship Management Plan (DRMP) for each significant donor.

Helps in maintaining, updating, and growing the records/database of partner corporations.
Accomplishes individual tasks for the Corporate Partnerships Team as assigned by the Corporate Partnerships Officer.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements to Qualify for the Position:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or other related
- course
- At least 2 years of substantial experience in fundraising, direct marketing, networking
- Experience in proposal development, writing, developing and managing project budgets and
- delivering development programming preferred by partner corporations
- Experience in coordinating with national agencies and LGUs, civil society organizations, and urban communities
