JOB DESCRIPTION
Assignment Purpose:
The enumerator and data entry is primarily responsible for collecting and entering field data, they have direct contact with respondents and have a great bearing on the quality of the collected data, entered and ultimately on the quality of the output; Based on that and under the supervision of the MEAL Officer and MEAL assistants with technical support from MEAL coordinator, the post holder should perform the following tasks:
- Conduct Interviews with the respondents in the field in targeted areas.
- Collect and entry all assessments data (Baseline/endline, needs assessments, satisfaction surveys, and Post distribution monitoring).
- Conduct gender and social inclusion including disability inclusion.
- Attend enumerators and data entries training courses
- Receive the data collection materials and e-link of the form from SCI s assigned staff
- Comply with the requirements necessary for conducting interviews and data entry successful
- Prepare daily, weekly and activity progress report.
- Ensure that the collected data is accurate and complete
- Print all field questionnaires and ensure all documents are archived.
- Working closely in cooperation and coordination manner with projects staff to ensure good quality for the project activities.
- Facilitate the process of distributions and respond to any /suggestions from the beneficiaries as well as during distribution monitoring (DDM).
- Support program staff as needed.
- Doing re-verification for the final list of beneficiaries.
- Compliance with data integrity and security policies
- Maintain contact with the supervisor and provide regular updates on progress
- Ability to ask questions in different ways.
Essential Requirements:
- An appropriate university degree or a secondary school qualification
- Computer skills preferable in MS Office programs, particularly Excel.
- Good command in kobo and google forms.
- Work experience at the field level in data collection, entry, validation, and analysis with an NGO is preferred.
- Good English language is preferable.
- Very good communication skills.
- Previous experience of at least one year in data collections for multiple sectors, food security and livelihood, WASH, health and nutrition, education, and child protection programs.
- Previous involvement in baseline/endline surveys, needs assessments, PDM, and satisfaction surveys.
- Ability to travel within targeted districts.
- Ability to conduct house-to-house interviews, HHs, KII individual interviews, and FGD focus group discussions.
Terms and Conditions
- The ToR holder should not work regular working hours and it depends on the tasks given (could be less hours).
- The ToR holder should not work 5 days a week with maximum 14 days per a month.
- The payment should be outlined in the TOR as (per day) can be paid either weekly.
- Daily achievement report and attendance sheet/service completion note should be signed and attached to the payment request.
