Specifically, we are looking for aTS/SCI cleared Task Area Lead – Task 6 – Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) – SMEto support this mission at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
As a Task Area Lead – Task 6 – Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) – SME, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:
- Drives just-in-time (JIT) training strategies and provides authoritative leadership in instructional design, training strategy, and compliance, including assigning Risk Owners for Task 6 in concert with the TO Risk Register.
- Shapes enterprise training posture and ensures alignment with Task Order deliverables.
- Leads the analysis, design, and development of C2ISR training supporting hardware and software system upgrades and installations across mission-critical operational environments.
- Conducts task, workflow, and audience analysis for operators and maintainers to define learning objectives, training paths, and measurable performance outcomes for operational management, network configuration, equipment maintenance, and support reporting procedures.
- Designs and maintains lesson plans, iTMs, student guides, instructor guides, job aids, lab exercises, and performance-based assessments and scenarios, ensuring consistency and configuration control across all training products.
- Integrates mission-realistic scenarios and real-world use cases into labs and assessments to validate trainee proficiency on required tasks.
- Uses the Government-furnished LCMS/LMS to structure course catalogs, organize content objects, manage versions, and ensure assessments and completion data support proficiency tracking and remediation decisions.
- Provides guidance and standards to Training Specialists and Technical Trainers on instructional design principles, templates, and review processes.
- Leads Task 6.1 transition activities, supporting the Task Order Program Manager and Transition Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring Knowledge Transfer (KT) during transition in accordance with the Peraton Transition Methodology (PTM): supports task planning by reporting on project schedules and deliverables; updates the Transition Performance Dashboard (TPD) for review; manages, coordinates, and facilitates the start-up and transition schedule in coordination with the Transition Manager; monitors individual project schedules and provides updates to the IMS; and reports status, progress, forecasts, and risks/issues to critical path to the Transition Manager.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Task Are Lead/Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience with a BS/BA degree or 10 years’ experience with a MS/MA or 7 years’ experience with a Ph.D. OR 16 years without a degree OR 14 years with AS/AA
- A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
- US citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
- DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
Work Environment:
- Location:Pope Army Airfield, NC
- On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking
- Travel:May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments
