Job Description
As a Security Officer – Armed Financial Patrol Driver in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an approachable presence. This role requires driving and carrying a firearm, supporting a secure environment through routine patrols and visible engagement. What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with particular attention to areas relevant to financial institutions.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
- Follow all company protocols and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and adhere to client-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ Year Military or Law Enforcement experience or Criminal Justice Degree (C151)
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
