Responsibilities
- Perform final assembly of equipment in-house, including truck chassis mounting, hydraulic plumbing, and wiring of E-stop and control circuits.
- Conduct initial start-up and calibration of hydraulic power units (diesel and electric).
- Recondition and service rental fleet equipment to maintain operational readiness.
- Provide technical support to customers via phone or in-person for troubleshooting field issues.
- Perform on-site equipment setup, break-in, and operator training at customer locations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanic or field service technician in heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Full set of tools (wrenches, sockets, specialty items)
- Ability to operate a forklift & overhead cranes (certification preferred).
- Troubleshooting ability (mechanical, hydraulic & electrical)
- Diesel System Knowledge a plus
- Heavy Equipment Knowledge a plus
- Hydraulic Circuits (JIC/S, SAE, BSPP)
- Electrical troubleshooting ability (12V DC, 24V DC, 110V AC circuits)
Pay: $35-$45/hour
Travel: 25% (US & Canada)
