Description
  • Manages the supplier qualification and performance process, liaising with the commodity & regional procurement to ensure adequate vendor management coverage for all commodities assigned.
  • Performs both documental and onsite assessments of current and potential new suppliers to ensure performance and adherence to contract requirements.
  • Makes decisions on supplier approval, issuing clear “go” or “no-go” outcomes based on assessment results.
  • Assists in defining the parameters of performance indicators for all service/commercial/qualitative levels of the supplier base.
  • Performs assessments of current and potential suppliers to ensure performance and adherence to Lane contract requirements.
  • Develops and executes training on procurement and vendor management processes to the supply chain team and other departments throughout the organization to ensure compliance to Supply chain standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Supports internal stakeholders and supply base in compliance to Lane processes and tools.
  • Defines, in coordination with relevant departments, the parameters and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service, commercial, QHSE, financial and qualitative levels of suppliers/contractors, collecting the relevant data to determine their overall rating and ensure the management of the supply base.
  • Analyzes vendor rating reports & prepares corrective action plans as necessary to ensure service level and continuous improvement.
  • Drives and trains procurement and supply chain team in contract creation and execution related to vendor management topics.
  • Provides data and/or prepares presentations for leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
