Technician II – Building Services – Fairlawn, OH

This position is 100% in office. The employee will work their scheduled work hours in a designated WesBanco location. Consideration for location will be Fairlawn – Fairlawn, OH, Streetsboro – Streetsboro, Solon LPO – Solon, OH, and Akron Canton LPO, Uniontown OH.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

SUMMARY:

Maintenance Technician II ensures the operational efficiency and safety of buildings, machinery, and equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Key duties include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspects and cleans functional parts, motors, and systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical) to prevent breakdowns.

Troubleshoots and repairs fixing or replacing plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry and painting.

Maintenances the cleanliness and safety of the building exterior and interior, including snow removal.

Updates maintenance records, tracking, and completing work orders in a computerized maintenance management system.

Responds promptly to urgent maintenance requests, including on-call support for after-hours facility issues.

Ability to work at other WesBanco locations as needed may include overnight stay and weekend work.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Ability to climb ladders and scaffold.

Ability to shovel snow and dirt.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to read and comprehend various measurements.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
