About This Opportunity:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable male caregiver (non-smoker, no vaping) to support a male client living with multiple sclerosis (MS), early signs of dementia, and a history of seizures. While the client remains mostly independent, he is considered a fall risk and may require assistance with safety and personal care.

• Schedule:
• A few times per week (tentative 3 days)
• Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings are preferred
• Flexible start time, with specific hours and routines to be discussed upon hiring
• Location: Romeoville, IL 60446
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Care Needs & Responsibilities:

• Assist with toileting and showering, especially if the client soils himself
• Supervise during showers to prevent falls
• Provide dressing assistance and standby support
• Administer or prompt morning and evening medications, including seizure medications (timing to be discussed)
• Meal preparation or microwaving meals in the evening
• Monitor for seizures and call 911 if they occur

Requirements:

• Male caregiver preferred
• Non-smoker, no vaping
