1st Shift Hose and Wire Order Filler

Our Columbus Distribution Center is looking for a full-time 1st Shift Warehouse associate to work as a Hose and Wire Order Filler.

Qualifications

• Responsible for performing day to day operations related to spooling wire, cutting hose, and filling sales orders
• Pulls all items on orders and writes down the quantity pulled on the white copy of the sales order
• Keeps an eye out for the multiple packaging code and ensures that items are packaged in a way that resemble Kimball Midwest standards
• Ensures all items with multiple package quantities are stocked in their correct locations
• Notifies stock adjuster of any out-of-stock product
• Maintains the flow of surplus to stock shelf location when filling an order that has no stock on the shelf
• Turns in Daily Production report to department lead
• Stocks received merchandise within 24 hours
• Visually inspects the quality of product being pulled to look for defects, incorrect product, or other errors
• Inspects all labels for accuracy and clarity; checks for proper quantity number, proper part number, and proper description
• Spools wire from barrels or original coils onto new spools at a rate of no less than 30 per hour
• Deducts footage of wire that was spooled from the barrel or spool for every number that is made, ensuring an accurate footage count in the barrel or spools
• Repackages bulk chemicals into smaller quantity containers

Additional Hours:

The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

The hours are 8:30am- 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
