Your Opportunity:

Taylor Warehouse & Distribution, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility.

Your Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday with overtime as required including some weekends.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare/breakdown inbound shipment for accuracy validation
• Assembles materials, products per specifications
• Fills kitting requisitions and orders accurately
• Packs, crates, and prepares orders for shipping
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, emptying trash containers, etc.
• Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties
• Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials
• Unload/Stage incoming shipments with the use of a pallet jack.
• May operate a pallet jack to move material to designated areas

You Must Have:

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
• Ability to work as a team member and independently

We Would Also Prefer:

• Prior warehouse/receiving experience
• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred with experience in the field or in a related area

The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $15. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
