Main Duties & Responsibilities

PennAero Summer Internship Program
We are currently seeking high energy and motivated students to join our team as
a 2026 Intern at PennAero. We pride ourselves on our high-performance

These internship opportunities will be located at our Allfast
Fastening Systems facility in City of Industry, CA.

We are looking for interns in the following areas:
Mechanical Engineering
Project Scope: Allmax Joint Allowables and New Product Development
Industrial Engineering
Project Scope: Purchased Tooling Inspection
Mechanical Engineering
Project
Scope: Tooling
Planning/Forecasting Process
Internship Course:
Over the course of our 8 – 10- week internship experience you will have the
opportunity to:
Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to
real world problems.
Experience our products up close by touring our state-of-the-art manufacturing
facilities.
Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future
of PennAero
Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging
activities.
Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace
industry.
Intern Salary Ranges
Bachelor’s: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
Master’s: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
Relocation:
Some of these positions offer a housing stipend based on candidate eligibility

This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the City of Industry, CA location.

Qualifications

education and Experience Required:
Current 3.0 GPA and above
Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
Prior work experience.
Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of
hire.
This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers
are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such
items
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $22.00 – $27.00 per hour for candidates in a Bachelors degree program and $32.00 to $34.00 per hour for candidates in a Masters degree program.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
