We are seeking a highly skilled and self-reliant 2<sup>nd</sup> shift Machinist with strong setup capabilities and a thorough understanding of machining processes from start to finish. This position requires an individual who can read blueprints, interpret tolerances, and maintain high quality standards independently.

Key Responsibilities:
                • Set up and operate CNC vertical mills and lathes
                • Utilize setup sheets and tool lists to prepare machines for production
                • Load tooling, set work offsets, and verify programs through the prove-out process
                • Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure part accuracy
                • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and hand tools
                • Maintain a strong awareness of quality, tolerance requirements, and production standards
                • Understand machine operation and workflow to ensure efficient production
Qualifications:
                • Proven experience with CNC machine setup and operation
                • Strong understanding of blueprints, tolerances, and part inspection techniques
                • Proficiency in using precision hand measuring instruments
                • Familiarity with Haas and Mazak machines
                • Ability to work independently
Preferred Skills:
                • Experience with Mazatrol controls is highly desirable
                • Ability to program CNC machines is a strong plus, though not required
                • Flexibility to work in both milling and turning environments
Compensation & Benefits:
                • Competitive hourly wage ($27 – $34/hour based on experience)
