Brief Description:

JBS in Worthington, MN is hiring for a security guard who is a self- motivated & able to work under minimal supervision at our guard shack. This position is responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed to enter facility, and signing trucks in & out; other duties as assigned. Works both indoor & outdoor in all weather conditions.

HOURS:

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 p.m. – 12:00am., Tuesday-Saturday- this is a mid shift position that helps cover shifts. 
• Flexible as needed or required 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Work in the Order Management System/Shop Floor
• Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic
• Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shipping date, times, and locations
• Enter Available and Outbound times into Shop Floor
• Maintain Outbound Logs
• Weigh and maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
• Assist with Security
• Pre-screening anyone entering facility for Covid-19 symptoms
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Excellent computer skills required
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Excellent People Skills
• Great work ethic
• Ability to work in a high stress environment
• Great Communication skills – written and verbal
• Self-motivated & Team player
• Good attendance record
• Must have a class D driver’s license 
• Resume required

Working Conditions: Security Guard Shack, hot and cold conditions
