TITLE: Packer B
position OBJECTIVE: Pack quality product and assist operators in maintaining a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to follow safety & company rules.
- Been a packer C for 6 months (or at the discretion of section manager or line coordinator).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Extrusion operator.
- Start Up
- Chill Roll Cleaning
- Performed Thread Up
- Screen Changes
- Adjust Core Alignment.
- Blade Adjustments.
- Popping Trim.
- Housekeeping.
- Wrap up removal pressure roll.
- Pack Finish Goods to Correct Procedure.
- Wrap up removal idle rollers.
- Packaging material over 5′
- Hand tools.
- Machine knowledge.
- Boxing, accounting, and weighing of scrap.
- Train packer C
- Assist packer A.
- Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
- Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:
- Inside and outside environments apply.
- Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot).
- Subject to noise.
