The successful Psychology Teacher will have the opportunity to teach A Level Psychology, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for this fascinating subject.Key Responsibilities of the Psychology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore Psychology concepts and develop their critical thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Psychology, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and departmental resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Psychology and incorporate new research and theories into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Psychology teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Psychology and A Level exam specifications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Psychology and a commitment to inspiring students.
