Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for an experienced Accountants for a Direct Hire Opportunity with a Morgantown Accounting Firm. You’ll be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial reports. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, and budgeting procedures. You should be able to monitor daily transactions. Previous work experience, along with a degree in Accounting is required for this role.
This role offers a competitive benefits package and a starting salary of up to $95,000 annually based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Organize and update financial records as needed
- Analyze transactions and prepare financial reports
- Perform regular, detailed review to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
- Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
- Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts and journal entries
- Liaise with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns
- Monitor bookkeeping activities regularly
- Preparing of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
Skills
- Proven work experience as an Accountant
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounting software and computer skills
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
- BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification
