Hours & Pay

  • Salary: $45,000+ annually, based on experience
  • Schedule: First shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Direct hire
  • Work Environment: Office-based; seated for the majority of the shift

Daily Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule
  • Record incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
  • Review, verify, and code vendor invoices and expense reports
  • Enter accounts payable transactions into the accounting system
  • Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation
  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
  • Familiarity with common accounting software, including QuickBooks or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting tools
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
