A manufacturing of high-performance exhaust products is looking for an Accounting Manager to be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance with local and government regulations. Accounting Manager Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the accounting department, including supervision of accounts payable, receivable, and invoicing functions
- Oversee and maintain financial reporting processes within the ERP system, including cost roll-ups, variance analysis, and scrap reporting
- Ensure timely compliance with city, county, and government paperwork and reporting requirements
- Coordinate with external CPA for monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting
- Provide production reporting support and assist with financial analysis as needed
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data (V-lookups, Pivot Tables)
- Monitor company insurance policies and ensure coverage aligns with organizational needs
Accounting Manager Requirements
- Proven experience managing an accounting department in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and Pivot Tables
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost analysis, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
