Overview

Join our dynamic Operations Accounting Team, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the accounting for various bank operations. Your focus will include:

• Cash
• Deposits
• Payroll
• Foreign currency transactions
• Leases
• Fixed assets
• Prepaids
• Various fee-generating bank products

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations and month-end close of accounting.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and review analysis for monthly and quarterly GL account variance.
• Establish and enforce proper internal controls, accounting methods, policies, and procedures.
• Review various schedules and reports for internal users and external auditors and assist in the audit of financial statements and related footnotes.
• Complete Accounting requirements to support the Bank’s new products/services or enhancements.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
• Banking/financial institution experience preferred
• At least 7 years public accounting and/or public company accounting experience
• Effective communication skills to interact with various Bank departments and manage team members.
• CPA license or MBA preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Inquisitive mind and intellectual curiosity
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
• Advanced usage of Microsoft Excel

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. – USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
